Synopsis: Waking from a deep hibernation, John finds himself lost in space and losing a grip on real-ity aboard the spacecraft Odyssey-1 whilst on a 9-year mission to solve Earth’s dire energy crisis. During psychological evaluations he has flashbacks to a past relationship with Zoe, but fellow as-tronaut Captain Franks assures him that she was just a plant by NASA to test his emotional stability. In a desperate attempt to make sense of this before returning to hibernation, John needs to make contact with Earth to discover the truth. Starring Casey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Tomer Capone (The Boys) and Emily Beecham (Daphne), Slingshot is written by R.
