PANDEMONIUM follows Nathan (Hugo Dillon), an ordinary man on a journey he never expected. After realizing he has died at the scene of a car crash, Nathan descends into the depths of hell, where he is doomed to experience the pain of tortured souls along the way.

PANDEMONIUM, written and directed by Quarxx, is a better than average anthology flick that suffers slightly from being one-note tonally. There is never a moment where the vibe breaks from being sombre and morose, never any levity. What it does have are great visuals and these are in abundance from the get-go.

Within the next ninety minutes Quarxx’s anthology takes in grief, suicide, bullying, patricide, and depression. In summary there is not a cheery moment to break the relentless doom and gloom, and this could prove wearing. For me, the murderous child Nina (Manon Maindivide), and her imaginary friend ‘Tony the Monster’ (Carl Lafôret), proved to be arduous to the extreme. No doubt this is intentional, this anthology is designed to be extreme, designed to get under the skin. You certainly
