Vertigo Releasing proudly presents the return of Yorgos Lanthimos’ DOGTOOTH to the big screen in a pristine 4K restoration overseen by the director himself.

DOGTOOTH follows the story of a couple that raise their three children in complete seclusion on the outskirts of a city, behind a tall fence that marks the boundary of their house. The children have never stepped beyond this fence and their upbringing is carefully controlled without any outside influence. However, when an outsider is introduced, their reality begins to fracture in unexpected and disturbing ways.

The film premiered to global acclaim, winning the Prix Un Certain Regard at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.

To celebrate the new restoration, Lanthimos also worked once again with longtime collaborator Vasilis Marmatakis to create new poster artwork for the theatrical release, including overseeing the design of the UK quad and one-sheet.

DOGTOOTH is restored in 4K from the 35mm camera and sound negatives by Boo Productions and mk2 Films at Asterisk* Post and I Hear Voices sound studio. Colour grading by Gregory Arvanitis and Thimios Bakatakis. Digital sound restoration by Landros Ntounis. The restoration process was supervised by the director, Yorgos Lanthimos
