Peter Cushing plays a scientist drawn into the hunt for the Yeti, opposite Forrest Tucker’s brash American expedition leader, in a film that trades monster-movie bombast for something colder and more unsettling. Director Val Guest and Quatermass writer Nigel Kneale, reunited here, understood that what you don’t see is often scarier than what you do.
This release marks the film’s UHD debut anywhere in the world, and its first-ever UK Blu-ray.
